I finally got batteries and film for my camera, and I'm almost through with the role I started with. When I get the time, and access to a scanner I'll post'em up.

On a more sad note, because I'm inept to have, keep, and not break head phones I haven't been listening to much music, so my super hot sewing playlist has been put on the back burner for a while. And speaking on sewing, this weekend my good friend Sarah and I are getting the material for her dress. This should be great.

I left my classes early a couple of days ago so I could get some work done. Mainly working on any backed up papers I had to do, as well as stuff around my hosue. Which I only partially did, I ended up taking a very much needed nap.

Currently I'm working on designing Christmas presents for everyone. I'm actually almost all the way done with the brain storming process, I just have to get myself in the position to get the materials, and then do all the work, which will follow. I need to get myself to the craft and art supply stores!

Halloween was fansatic. My breeches came out great and I'm glad about that. I didn't take any pictures, I forgot sorry. However, maybe next year.

Prior to getting dressed up and hitting the town I went with my friend Raychal to Sally's (beauty supply) to get some materials for extentions. I don't know, I've not gotten word if she did them successfully, or at all for that matter.

(edit)

I did get word about the extention project. The hair, without tracking is all over Raychal's floor. Well I guess that all projects don't come out successfully. Maybe next time.

This weekend has been great. Yesterday I helped my good friend Angela move to her new house. I had gotten twenty-five dollar in return for helping, which I wasn't expecting, however, galdly took not to be rude. But, now I can buy supplies to work on some of my long awaiting projects. Pretty good. Actually I intend on using a some of it to get some film for my camera to start taking pictures.

Later on today, actually the evening, I have an interview with Zumiez. I'm so excited, I don't want to jynx myself, but I am really just so excited about it.

On an unrelated note, for some odd reason I've hand Christmas on the brain, and Halloween hasn't even come yet. However, I was just thinking in terms of presents and seasonal cards. I was thinking of making my own. I have a great idea for the composition of it. However, I need to wait for the first now fall. Which is driving me nuts!! Actually snow isn't that far off. Higher elevations in my area are already starting to experience snow. Not frequently, but...

I found so many wonderful things as the charity shop today. I'm so happy, I have so many more ideas now. There were so many great finds. I actually got some of my Christmas shopping done, partially anways. I also found some great fabric, and the cutest handkerchief in the world! Among the rest:

1. Kodak Instamatic x-35f camera. It's my now among one of my favorite cameras.

2. Low seated wicker chair.

3. Used pattern for a dress, it's cute I'm going to reproduce it. Maybe resell it, I don't know yet. Or give it away to someone as a Christmas present.

4. Two new tops (not for myself) a yellow sweater, and a black long sleeved shirt.

That's it, however, it's really great. I'm well underway to getting Christmas presets turned out before the snow falls.

I just had a college visit with The Art Institutes. It's actually really interesting. I would attend the institute in New York. The Art Institute isn't my first choice for a college, though it's something that I wouldn't completely look over.

Recently a couple of weeks ago I had a visit with SUNY Purchase, which the visit really blew my mind. Though I really have my sighs set on SUNY FIT (Fashion Inst or Parson School of Design. Though (not to sound negative) I would probably never get in there, at least not right anyway.

Actually after, I'm going directly to the local community college, however, it's not nothing to take the credits I earn there to another school (at least those in the SUNY field). It's a really exciting process, I think. I would love to go to Parsons for a while and then just drop out, like everyone else seems to do there.

Anway, I've started thinking about Christmas presents for everone. I think I should start now and not later, because it's going to take some kind obviously since mostly evereything is going to be hand made. I started to note some ideas this morning. I'm really into linoleum block, which I could turn into stamps (or 'stampees' as I'm starting to call them, and refer to them by. Last night while shopping with my mum for some supplies I found some awesome "layer" long-sleeves shirts at Kmarts. They'd be great to paint, stencil, and stamp on. They've totally been made a top priority on my list of things in the furture to get. I'm helping one of my best friends Angela move today. Luckily she's moving by a charity shop. This give me the prime chance to look for some old cloths to revamp. I'm really happy about this. Of course I'm always happy if I'm doing something. Especially crafty.

I'm planning on going to some charity shops, and thrift stores to get some old picture frames. Various sizes and designs. I actually would like to get some odd shaped mirrors; hopefully I will be able to find some. Afterwards I'm going to spray paint them different colors, and resultantly hang them up in my room. Add some much-needed decor to my drab room. I was also thinking while shopping around for frames, and mirrors I was going to see if I could find some patterns, as well as seeing what kind of materials they've got. Sometimes there are some pretty neat fines. I was even thinking I could even use nice (really nice) bed sheets.

Speaking of spurcing I came across is awesome book at the library today. It's all on construction of paper flowers. They vary from being made with tissue paper to hard stock paper. It's called, "Paper Flowers" by Valerie Janitch. I really want to try out some of these flower designs. I think they could make some slammin' gifts and possible accessories, for whatever they could be applicable to.

Sewing soundtrack, Halloween costume, and everything else is going as planned.

I truly love this dress. It's from Fitz, the patterns not posted, however, I could totally construct my own pattern for the dress.

I'm making a semi-formal dress for my friend Sarah. Actually I'm really excited about it actually. It's going to be basic black, and cut very low. She's sending me her scheduel to see when we can go fabric shopping together. Speaking of sewing I'm planning on composing a "soundtrack to sewing."

As for any progress made with tee shirt production, I haven't. However, I should soon be making much progress after Halloween passes, since most of my time has been drawn towards my coustume and what I'm planning on doing Monday night.

Among other things, I guess that I could mention I need to get down to the photo suppy store (for lack of a better name) for film. Today in class my photos came out amazing! If I can get my hands on them anytime soon I'll post them. I'm feeling very inspired, I would have to just waste it sitting around.

I started to sketch a new design for a tee shirt. It's actually a design I'm going to make into a stamp. I will probably starting that soon as I can get my hands on some acrylic texturizer, and linoleum blocks. I'm actually happy how it came out. I have to make a stop to Kinko's and have an enlarged copy made. Easier for carving, and my eyesight. I'm looking forward to this actually.

Just a side not, I guess. As mentioned I've been having the most difficult time with blogs and html markup. It seems that blogger/blogspot is no different. Example my blog appear in different colors not even in the markup. Maybe someday I'll have someone who actually knows what their doing can take a look at it. So to anyone who reads this if you believe that it looks odd (for lack of a better word) drop me a note.

I reposted my list of craft ventures, which I'll accomplish in the not too distant future:

1.Finish my Halloween costume. I've only got a couple more things to do on it and I'm all set. That's priority number one on my list.

2. Ferreting through Salvation Armies to Rescue Missions, and consignment shops to find cute cloths, which I can, paint on or alter in some other way. My wardrobe is somewhat lacking, so it's all in my own best interest that I do that!

2b. Making some new stencils, stamps, and getting my hands on some fine point fabric markers and re-vamping some of the said cloths I want to get my hands on.

3. Mend some cloths, which are already apart of said wardrobe. I've got some of that.

4. Making my way to A.C. Moore and get my hands on some beads, et cetera (actually I had just gotten inspired).

5. I found some awesome discounted fabric I saw at Jo-Ann Fabrics and I would love to get it. I found these great floral patterns in two awesome colors.

5b. Buy the tote pattern I found (yesterday as well) and make a tote out of the said slammin' fabric I found. If they come out nice I was thinking of selling them either on ebay or by the side of the road.

5c. Getting some plain pattern-less material and making some totes, which I could therein paint on. I saw this awesome vinyl totes with vintage mod-Playboy playmates on them. I could do something like that... just not in vinyl.

6. Decorating the cover of my hardbound sketchbook. The sketchbook, which I am going to do all my important sketching in.

7. Fixing my messenger bag... My bag has been graffito tagged for the last time. Probably going to dye it with something like RIT and then stencil over it.

8. Attempt to figure out what I was doing wrong on my knitted ribbed scarf and start over. I did want to get it done by the start of the cold weather, however, not.

9. While at Jo-Ann Fabrics I found a treasure trove of free flyers for crochet and knitting projects. I found this awesome sweater. I could totally crochet that!! I would probably finish it faster then a ribbed scarf, oddly enough.

10. Get a hold of some linoleum blocks for carving, I like doing prints and that is what you do them on.

11. I have a wealth of pictures on my computer I want to turn them into buttons, so I need to find the materials cheep as possible. I also need to get a new ink cartridge and find my photo paper.

12. I was thinking about getting a black coffee table photo album. They are normally always on sale in either Borders or Waldens and I was thinking it would be an awesome place to put my photos.

13. Getting some film for my camera therein I can fill said photo album.

Thirteen is a lucky number so I thought that I should stop here.
